Portland Wrestling Uncut T.V. recap - 5/18/13

-Show opens with Joe V surrounded by all the PWU wrestlers. A clip of one of the scabs (Kellen Raeth) punching Joe V from last week aired. Hess calls out the Grappler, who comes out and cuts a promo to set up a 6 on 6 TURF WAR for tonight's main event.

-They ran a new commercial to advertise the May 21st live event in Milwaukie. No matches announced. I think it's so lame they have a T.V. show and run a monthly house show in town, but don't use the T.V. at all to push interest in the house show.

-Joe V & XFL sensation Josh Wilcox on PBP

-Joe V interviews the Blanchard Brothers. These guys are promo machines.

-Match #1 - PNW Tag Team Championship
The Blanchard Brothers (c) defeated Scotty Mac & RAVENOUS Randy Myers by DQ
Mac attacked Ooh La La at ringside and took one of the title belts, which he used to KO both Blanchards. Bubba juiced. I'm hoping this result means Mac and Myers are going to be regulars. Myers does a comedy shtick, complete with really exaggerated bumping, and holds the prestigious distinction of being my FAVORITE WRESTLER !

-Joe V interviewed the Hobo, who may be a scab, but is a total babyface.

-Match #2
The Hobo defeated Dillon Divine with a sidewalk slam out of a backdrop
A great spot saw Hobo pull down his suspenders ala Jerry Lawler, and then tune up the band ala Shawn Michaels, but he was stomping both feet and Joe V called it tuning up the jug band.

-Match #3
DOA champ Dr. Kliever defeated THE GRESHAM SAVIOR Buddy Highway with a double handed chokeslam

-FLASHBACK with Don Coss featured highlights of Beetlejuice (Art Barr) vs. Col. DeBeers. Referee (and wrestler) Joey Jackson stole the show with his tremendous permed mullet

-Interview with PNW champ Big Ugly via SKYPE. He will be back next week to put his belt on the line against Exile. He doesn't blame Exile for giving him a concussion, and says he would have done the same to Exile.

-Joe V interviewed Exile & the Grappler, with Grappler taking credit for teaching Exile everything he knows. Exile reveals he will be on the PWU team in the TURF WAR, which pisses off the Grappler.

-Match #4 - 12-man tag team TURF WAR
Team PWU (Exile, Wade BY GOD Hess, Thunder, Colt Toombs, Pat Large, & Mike Santiago) defeated Grappler's Replacement Wrestlers (Kellen Raeth, Jonas Albert Robinson, Hot Hands Mendoza, Demarcus James, Jorel Nelson, & Erik Baeden) when Thunder pinned Demarcus after a Dominator
